For those of you who don't remember, Netflix did not originally have a native app on the PlayStation 3, so they would send out a Blu-ray Disc with the software on it to those who requested it. Apparently, the disc used the BD-Live feature to access Netflix, and when I watch videos of it from back when it worked, the "Play" icon would show up in the lower left corner of the screen when the disc booted. From this, it appears to me that the disc was just a regular Blu-ray Disc that used the BD-Live feature, so I wonder if one could have used it in any Blu-ray Disc player that had BD-Live. Did anyone here try it back then?
