Default Hotel Transylvania (September 21st 2012)

Adam Sandler Checks Into 'Hotel Transylvania'

Quote:
Over three years after being announced, Sony is finally taking a stab at Hotel Transylvania, which comedy star Adam Sandler will be checking into for a September 21, 2012 release.

Sony's go-to funnyman has signed on to voice the lead role of "Count Dracula" in Sony Pictures Animation's 3D family comedy, reports Variety.

In the story, a sort of "Romeo and Juliet" with monsters, "Simon Van Helsing -- the youngest in a long line of monster hunters -- falls in love with Dracula's daughter. Upon the discovery that they are enemies, the couple attempt to bring peace between the monsters and humans."

Veteran animator Genndy Tartakovsky will now direct the pic (Jill Culton had originally been attached). He is best known for his work on "Samurai Jack," "Star Wars: Clone Wars" and the super awesome "Dexter's Laboratory"!

Sony Pictures Imageworks will handle animation
Sounds like an interesting movie and I love Adam's work so I'll be checking this out come release.
