The House of the Devil? Is that on Netflix? If so, check it out.

+1 for the bold. Great choices. The only reason I didn't agree with the others is I have not seen them

Lord Of Illusions is a must-watch if one hasn't seen it. A shame it hasn't hit Blu-ray yet.

Don't know whether Netflix here in the UK shows different films but here's what I'd recommend anyway;

Candyman
The Sentinel
Phenomena
Videodrome

Omen III: the Final Conflict, however, is only worth watching for a creepily assured pre-Jurassic Sam Neill, and a much classier Jerry Goldsmith score.

Sage advice.
(Except for the original Swedish Let the Right One In, of course.)

Fortunately, that still includes
- Son of Frankenstein (containing at least 50% of the classic scenes parodied in Young Frankenstein)
- Tales of Terror (the Price/Corman Poe one)
- Masque of the Red Death
- The Comedy of Terrors
- House (the tongue-in-cheek 80's one with Norm from "Cheers", not the loopy Japanese one)
- Hellraiser I+II (ignore all others)
- Black Sabbath
- Vampire Circus
and if you have somehow missed it all this time:
- The Stuff ( )

For me the only Horror movies are THE THING and HALLOWEEN. I would just loop those two for 31 days in my house.

Lake Mungo and Grave Encounter are said to be worthy found footage films.

Dream Home is an asian slasher/murder film that is intense.

Session 9 is good.

I Sell the Dead is an anthology style horror comedy.

I watched Vamp the other night, it's not great but for a cheap 80s chase film with vampires worth seeing.

Antichrist is worth it but very dark and experimental so not for everyone.

I second these recommendations. Dead Heat is a good zombie buddy copy 80s action/horror hybrid. Lord of Illusions is a arcane mystery movie with noir elements. The Beast Within is a good 80s creature film.

Some of the later Hellraisers sequels are worthy but they are more psychological and abstract that traditional horror and barely Hellraiser related. Hellraiser: Inferno is a favorite of mine.

Friend I think if you are horror movie lover than you will have to try SAW 1 And SAW 2. These are two movies of saw series which are really horrible. And I enjoyed all of these movies so much. So Must watch it you will surely enjoy it.

I need to watch "The Gate". It was a childhood favorite of mine. I sure hope it held up.

I must disagree on watching it on Netflix. Go find a copy of the Directors Cut DVD the few minutes the studio trimmed make a world of difference in tone and pacing. I LOVE this film. Scott Bakula is awesome, and Nix is a creepy bastard. Go find it now...stop reading this and go...why are you still reading. GO NOW!

D'oh! Listed three other Vincent Price classics, and how could I forget Theater of Blood?

(Generally considered to be the unofficial "third" Dr. Phibes movie--They do have "Dr. Phibes Rises Again", but that one was a pale pretender of the original.)
