Best movies on terrorism, war, Islam, Middle East

I am intrigued with movies concerning US/UK/Europe and terrorism/Islam/middle east relations. The politics of it can be included, but ot the overwhelming focus (I like facts and nuance, not rhetoric and propaganda). Any time frame.

The Kingdom, Kingdom of Heaven, Syriana, The Hurt Locker, Munich are all films I enjoyed. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am looking forward to Zero Dark Thirty

Green Zone is a well made film if you haven't seen it. Three Kings is another good one.

The Siege is an eerie film to watch given the climate we live in.

Carlos is absolutely fantastic.

It doesn't romanticize anybody/anything, it doesn't grind any axes, it's not sensational and it's not dry. The performances are all excellent, Edgar Ramirez is freaking brilliant, it looks great, it flows really well and the soundtrack is spot on with regard to creating a sense of mood and time.

The Battle of Algiers is the best movie on this subject. The documentary style of the movie makes it look so realistic. Pentagon screened the movie to illustrate the problem the American army would be facing after the invasion of Iraq.

I really enjoyed Body Of Lies with Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe. It's an excellent thriller and the transfer is fantastic on Blu. Some felt the film dragged a bit too much, but I think they were simply expecting an all-out free for all war portrayal on camera rather than an actual story. The plot summary is as follows (credit: IMDB): A CIA agent on the ground in Jordan hunts down a powerful terrorist leader while being caught between the unclear intentions of his American supervisors and Jordan intelligence.

Black Hawk Down is a phenomenal film. Though not related to terrorism/islam/middle east relations.
