India/Bollywood 'Bol Bachchan' & '**** 2' blu-rays released.

The blu-rays for 'Bol Bachchan' & '**** 2' are now available.

PS: It is beyond my comprehension that such movies, specially '**** 2', get a blu-ray release, while so many far more deserving titles don't.

**** = J i s m 2 <-- blu-ray.com censor filter gone crazy.

Really shocking.

Espcially films like bol bachchan which have got nothing to do with high quality audio or video why they get blu ray treatment is beyond me. Had a horrible horrible time watching this carp even for free.

Agreed.

Both Bol Bachchan and J2 are pretty poor films.

There are more deserving films than those two.

For example, just imagine Gangs of Wasseypur on BD

Actually, based on the quality of the 'Gangs of Wasseypur' DVDs, instead of drooling, I literally shudder at the thought of what the blu-ray might hold.
It seems that Anurag Kashyap has absolutely zero interest in how his movies look on video, irrespective of format. In fact, somehow the DVDs of his movies, generally are worse than even the average crappy Hindi DVD.

^I liked how No Smoking turned out on DVD, Dev.D was disappointing on BD especially given that it ha had potential to be a reference disc.

The 'No Smoking' DVD I think was an Eros release which may have played a part in it being reasonably good.
