I stopped watching Person of Interest about halfway through the first season due to a lack of time and lack of interest (case of the week shows need to be REALLY impressive to hold my interest, this just didn't do it for me) but Homeland is one of my favorite shows currently on television.

POI is very very good. It has a fantastic cast Jim Caviezel, Taraji P. Henson and Michael Emerson and if you don't know it was Created by Jonathan Nolan who co-wrote The Dark Knight & The Dark Knight Rises and its produced by both Nolan & J.J. Abrams!

They're two entirely different shows with different rules since one's on CBS and the other's on Showtime. If Person of Interest were on cable, it'd probably be more brutal and the episodes would completely serve the story arcs. If Homeland were on network TV, there would be a lot of stand-alone episodes.
