Don't know what section this should be in but if I'm wrong, please move it....=)
I gonna buy a new computer here shortly, gonna get a Dell XPS.....with Windows 8. I want to get two monitors for my design work, it just works better. I'm looking to get a touch screen monitor for one of them.....how does that work with the mouse? If I have my drafting programs up, I can't imagine I'd use my fingers for that, I'd assume I'd use a mouse still.....do you just "move the mouse" like normal and it works like a computer? Basically the mouse operates as a monitor, or your finger works like a tablet? Is that how it works? I guess I'm asking if I have one touch screen and one regular monitor, if I'm using the mouse and keyboard, does it function like two monitors, or if I want to use my finger, I can, without changing some sort of setting? Does it work flawlessly? I don't know anything about touch screens as monitors, but I hear with windows 8, to truly "enjoy" it, you should have a touch screen??? Better question, are touch screen monitors worth it? |
