This info was originally posted by AnimeOnBlu here, but it kind of got lost in the main Trainspotting thread, so I thought I'd re-post in case anyone is interested. There's a new Japanese Trainspotting release by Kadokawa, which I've picked up & can confirm is the uncut version: http://www.amazon.co.jp/トレイン.../dp/B005NKAQHE I can't really comment on relative picture quality since I have nothing to compare it to. From the specs it does indeed seem to be a reissue of the OOP Sony with a slightly different cover: https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Train...-Blu-ray/3108/ It is a single disc with extras. TrueHD 5.1 English audio track. Subtitles can be disabled. Menus are in Japanese.
