Default White Queen - Complete Mini series

is the aussie release the same as the US with the UNCUT episodes. The UK edition is censored. So i wonder if this is the same here. I can not find any info about or a backcover anywhere on the net for the aussie release

So can anyone provide info on this please ?

Actually, the UK version is not a cut version. It is the version actually as edited to show on BBC TV. The Starz version has extra nudity shot for the US market. (That information from The White Queen website)

I read a review with one of the actors at the time of its inital UK TV broadcast on the BBC. It sounded like some of the horror and other films of the 1960s where with British films of that era they filmed two versions. One for the UK censors and then a European version with some of the actresses topless. He said in the interview it was similar with two versions of the sex scenes filmed, one for UK and one for US. The actor said they filmed the BBC clothed version first and then the director said get your kit off and they then filmed the US version with nudity.

Its similar to the recent mini series Hunted where the BBC version avoided the nudity, but they filmed with nude scenes for Cinemax in the US. However in that case the BD (was released by EOne rather than BBC) was the US version with nudity. It actually had the Cinemax rather than BBC logos at the start, so they must have just used the US disk in both countries.

Yeah but Can anyone confirm that the Australian version is the US longer raunchier cut. The tame BBC version is everywhere in Europe anyway i think. It has the BBC logo on the cover so i think its the tame BBC version on them all. But the Australian Blu looks exactly Like the US cover and with the starz logo instead. So now i am almost positive the only countries that got the raunchier version is US and AU. I also think the Extras is the same as the US release. But it would be cool if someone could confirm it ?
