Paramount will finally be releasing What Lies Beneath on Blu-ray later this year.

This looks like a normal release and not a Paramount Presents title and likely using the same streaming transfer…

I hope it’s an updated transfer. My Amazon digital file is over sharpened with video noise and looks pretty bad.

I had owned the German release a few years ago but wasn't impressed. If its a new transfer I'll buy it.

This is great news. I know opinions on this were split, but it has two of the most beautiful and talented actors in Hollywood in Michelle Pfeiffer and Harrison Ford and they make it work, or at least they did the last time I watched the film. This has taken an absolute age to come to Blu-ray and I avoided the German disc because of the reported poor quality. So, while I'm surprised this isn't a part of Paramount Presents, like many have said, I hope it's a new transfer and a worthy disc.
