The bottom picture says "Blu-ray 3D with Steelbook" in French.

What do you expect? It's Walmart. They don't care about doing things right like people calling "Steelbook" anything that are "Steelbook", MetalBox", or "MetalPak".

Soon I'll be joining the military (already been selected for Naval Officer training) and little details/inconsistencies like that already irks me. It's like people putting "Steelbook" and Blu-ray" in the thread title in this section while we're already in the Blu-ray forum and in the Steelbook section... Redundancy much.

I'll be damned - there IS a Canadian steelbook! Despite the flyers, I was a little skeptical, but I dropped into one of my local WMs and there it was, in a big display stand in the movie section. Most of them were the regular release, but there were about 10 steelbooks right in the middle. Thank you for noticing this and posting about it, rabbit!!!

Why would you think they would post something in a national flyer and not have the product?

Went in an picked up my GI JOE today. The nice thing about Walmart is that they are open early, so you can go before work and have your pick.

Lots of copies though. Probably at least 10-15 at my store. All were in excellent shape.

I checked instore and both the single and duo-pack were not Extended Cut.

There is no extended cut at Walmart. I saw it at Best Buy.

It has a different slipcover -- one with Snake Eyes in the back, and The Rock in the front. Walmart doesn't carry this one.

yeah thanks for the heads up I just picked one up today surprised they still had about 8 copies left. the shelf price said $36.47 but it scanned through at $29.97 not bad for 3D, FS needs to start releasing thier steels with 3D
