middle east support BLU RAY and PS3 40GB arrived with SPIDER MAN 3

i live in UAE where in our place the sale all blu ray movies and i didnt see any HD DVD even a single DVD

and today i saw ps3 40GB with SM3 THE PAL for 408us

I live in Kuwait and I havn't seen a Blu-ray on the economy yet. I am a contractor for the Military and Post Exchange sells Blu but the are $29.95 each. Thanks to amazon I get my discs in about 5 days.

The local sony dealer is about 200 yards from my apartment and I would walk in and ask if they had any Blu-ray players and they would say no. I would be standing right next to the PS-3. I did that for about 8 months and they finally said yes last month and pointed at the PS-3.

I don't think I will see any Blu-ray's becasue bootleging is alive and well here.

check your sony local now cause in uae today they lunch it with prize 1799 dhs.and is is avaible all place you can check carrfore you will find it there
and around 100%of shops they sale blu ray.

i'm from qatar and they annouced today on the papers the 40GB with spiderman 3 + 80GB heavenyl sword bundle

funny how other stores got the bundle way before the sony official store here got it lol

This is the same what i'm Doing welcome Middle East owners.

As a part of Middle East and i live In Lebanon,you can find Blu-ray Titles in Dubai or Dubai duty free where my friend Bought for me a couple titles like Ghost Rider and Tears Of the sun.

Here in Lebanon i can buy BD through Virgin Mega Store or the Authorised dealer of Sony and Twentieth Century Fox ,this is the link and a sample of BD available.

PS3 is invading our country and Middle East and expect soon our BD library to Grow forever.

By the way i'm still importing from Amazon and Canada for Disney , Lionsgate and Warner hard to find them in Middle East
