United Kingdom Still Walking: Worth a buy?

I am not a big fan of Far Eastern cinema and the only Japanese films that I own are Criterion DVDs of Rashomon and The Seven Samurai. But I have heard very good reports about the more contemporary Still Walking and a reasonably priced Criterion Blu-ray is available.

Is it a film worth adding to the collection?

I do sometimes.

Let me qualify that. I like family dramas if I can identify with them. Since I am originally from India, it is not always straightforward for me to identify myself with (as opposed to 'understand') a Western family drama. It is somewhat easier with Eastern films because there is often a closer association with various nuances.

With certain types of film, one has to put oneself at a different wavelength to appreciate it. Reading about it, I got the impression that I could do that with Still Walking.
