Question Toshiba 50L5200U turns itself off

Hi. I just bought this 50 inch last summer, and haven't had any problems with it until this morning -- after 12 minutes of watching a Blu Ray, the picture and sound cut out. I tried turning the TV off and on, to no effect. I finally unplugged the TV from the backup for a minute and the menu came up. I thought, "Oh, it's just a fluke..."

But then it happened again. I paused the Blu Ray player, left the room for a couple of minutes, and came back to find the TV "on" (green button) but with no picture and no sound. Unplugged it for a minute, plugged it back in, and it continued playing as normal.

I checked the sleep timer mode (does that sound like the cause?) and it was set to 0.

Does my TV need a 4 hour unplug break or should I be worried? I hate to replace it, since it's not that old (I'm not sure about the warranty, either -- I got it from Best Buy and it didn't come with much paperwork, just a little slip with hook up instructions).
