I think this is Universal so, fingers crossed very tightly for this release onto BD. It was never as big a hit as American Werewolf, but I think it deserves a respectful scan and master.

I remember seeing that as a kid and enjoyed it but I am not sure how well it holds up today

I wonder if the DVD is out of print?

It holds up just fine, so long as you don't mind a lack of non stop shock crude humor, heavy cell phone usage/references and slow motion sequences to AOR songs from the 70's and 80's...it still has some sauce to offer.

Not sure about the dvd.

I just checked, it is not out of print, I will get this until the blu-ray is released
