I imagine it will be exactly the same content as the Mill Creek version, 4K restoration and in widescreen, which IFRC is how it played on Channel 5 here. Certainly all the UK dvds were.

I'm unsure that Medium Rare have the clout to get them to different versions for this package. We shall see.

Is there any chance that previously cut episodes on the DVD versions will now pass uncut? As far as I can see from DVDCompare, there were cuts in season 2, 3 and 5 on the DVD versions.

Is anyone planning to get this on release date? Interested to know what the packaging will be like. My guess is seeing as it's MediumRare it will be stacked discs housed in a DVD sized jumbo case based on the outer slip image but i could be wrong.

Seems i guessed right! The discs are stacked in a jumbo sized case with an outer slip. As you can see it's 17 Discs compared to the Mill Creek's 18 Disc set. I've yet to open it up and have a look at the discs. When i do i'll edit it here with more info :-)

Edit: Disc art is the same all round. We only have one bonus features disc so that explains why it's only a 17 disc set. Upon first look at the episode guide on the inside of the insert it seems to be an exact port of the Mill Creek set. So 2 Discs for Seasons 1, 2 , 4 , 5 & 6 with Seasons 3 & 7 having 3 Discs.

After inserting the first disc seems we have a short video montage on the Menu. A step up in my opinion over the still image on the Mill Creek set. Screencap below:

Season 2 - "Dead Soldiers" & "Partners"
Season 3 - "Mum"
Season 5 - "Postpartum"

They were all uncut on the Mill Creek set except "Mum"

Thanks for the heads up, i'll check them soon. Do you have the episode run time for 3.05 "Mum" on both the censored & uncensored versions?

Also that link doesn't have anything on Season 5's "Postpartum" ep. Do you know what i'm looking out for?

Something else i caught up on the bonus disc. It doesn't include anything new that was filmed post the show's ending for example the 2018 cast reunion. It literally has every single season's (1-7) bonus feature except for commentaries on that disc

Whether or not that has impacted the episodes themselves seeing as it has more free space on the discs i wouldn't know as i don't have the software to check.

The runtime should be ~70 mins and not ~50 mins.
