I got a PS3!!

After about a month of inner turmoil of deciding on a 2nd blu-ray player in the house, I finally chose the PS3. I'm not much of a gamer(not as much as I'd like to be, with 2 kids keeping me busy). I have a 360, but it seems to be collecting dust more than I do collecting achievement points, so I was a little reluctant until I saw the deal.

I went down to Future Shop, where they had the 80GB PS3 with Motorstorm and Lair included for $499. I also picked up Heavenly Sword, and I'll soon send away for the 5 free blus. I thought this was a damn good deal.

After hooking it up, the wife actually said, "It'll be nice to watch blurays in the upstairs living room now." She was also impressed with Heavenly Sword. She loved controlling the projectiles with the sixaxis, and my 2 year old boy loved flying around in Lair. As I mentioned earlier, I'm not a regular gamer, but this special little box may have converted my whole family to games. We're all pretty happy with the PS3!!

congrats on your purchase! i love my ps3 too, though im a gamer. but i still support blu-ray movies, just not as much
