Default Paradigm Earbuds

Yesterday Paradigm launched their new brand, Paradigm Shift, which will be offering earbuds, headphones and active speakers.

http://www.tedpublications.com/hi-fi...e-new-earbuds/

I have Bose headphones I was never really happy with and the cord is just starting to fray - talk about perfect timing! So yesterday I placed an order for a pair of earbuds and today I won a pair of earbuds! (Looks like my wife is getting an unexpected upgrade!)

If you 'like' them on facebook (http://www.facebook.com/shiftbyparadigm) you'll be eligible to win a pair as well... Good Luck!

I ordered the E2m's last Friday. I haven't been able to find any V-Moda's so I'm giving these a shot.
I have Paradigm speakers, so I know the quality of the brand is excellent.

I called my local store and the buds are still not in.
I like to support my local retailers (especially this one), but if I had ordered online I would've had 'em by now.

On a happier note, I am pretty positive they will be well-worth the wait!

I picked up my EM2's today but haven't opened the box yet. They said the 3's have shipped and will be here early next week. I'm having a case of upgradeitus and haven't even listened to them yet. I'll decide tomorrow on what I'll do.

Btw, I've suffered hearing loss because of my chosen profession(s) and I wouldn't recommend paying attention to my thoughts on sound quality. Just so you know.

Looking forward to your take on them, though it might take a few days of burn in to get the best out of them. I can't see Paradigm making a bad product.

I did end up not opening the box and brought them back to wait for the e3's. Should be this week.

You didn't even give them a listen buddy? I don't know how you did that, I wouldn't of been able to at least not listen to them. The upgrade though is probably a good one.

I didn't want to take a chance on trying to return them with an open box.
I know that even though the e2's would've been great, It'd bug me knowing there was something better I could've had. I just wanted to remove any future doubt. Hahaha!
They did say that the buds shipped last Friday and should be in this week.
I go back to work on Tuesday so if they aren't in by then, I will have a serious dilemma.
Have a great one Bro!

I've had them a few weeks now and am kinda happy, but also a bit disappointed. The bass is very good. The best bass I've had since my V-Modas from years (and many earbuds) ago. The fit is also good, I don't get tired of wearing 'em.
But the upper end isn't very bright. I was expecting more. I am wondering how much hearing loss I actually have, cause I can't believe these buds aren't as awesome as I thought they'd be.
I am glad that I don't feel like I've just been ripped off like I have so many times when I buy new Ear Buds. I was expecting more, but these'll do.
If anyone is set on getting Paradigms, save a couple bucks and get the E2's.

*edit
I just want to reiterate that I have suffered some hearing loss. I don't notice it a lot, but it may be why I wasn't super-stoked about these buds. Paradigm has been awesome for a long time and these buds probably continue that trend.

The overall consensus from other reviews is the Paradigm headphones are on the rolled off side and tend to be quite warm.

These are reviews of the E3's that are on paradigms website:

http://http://www.avrev.com/home-the...-review-3.html

http://http://www.electronichouse.co..._e3m_ear_buds/

http://http://www.theaudiobeat.com/e..._shift_e3m.htm

http://http://hometheaterreview.com/...tors-reviewed/

http://http://www.technologytell.com...ft-e3m-earbud/

After reading them, It's not difficult to see that I am in the wrong (or rather, my hearing is) and these buds are, I am pleased to say, awesome!
I've had 'em a few weeks and whatever short-comings I may have said they had, there wasn't any.
I am very happy with these!

This review isn't so positive. Kind of disappointed as I'm in the market for new earbuds and was strongly considering these.
