Default KDL40BX450 yes or no?

Finally looking into getting a Sony LCD. I've had the Samsung TOC back in 09 and the Vizio Razor Edge lit 42. Ive been reading up on this particular sony model and for the price, it doesnt seem like a bad deal. I realize lcds has changed since 08. My old Samsung LNA40c was my favorite. So what it anyone's take on this particular Sony model? They are going for like 399 or 499 depending on website and store. I'd like to get people's input on it

Just read up on it on Sonys website and it looks to be good and the reviews are positive so take a shot. And if a 40inch is what you need and are looking for why not? Plus for the price you cant go wrong.
