Any news on when this great movie will be released? Also The rocket. Someone has said tat it has been released in Canada but I can't find it on Amazon.

Ginger Snaps does not have a release yet, TVA doesn't have to many blus here.

It would be news to me if there has been a Blu-ray of it. It never really got a great treatment on dvd, so a BD would be a nice treat.

They need to release this trilogy on Blu-ray. The first two are the best by far, but I'd buy them all. At the moment I have them on DVD.

I really enjoyed Ginger Snaps and would happily purchase the entire trilogy on blu-ray (a fur trading post as a setting for a Canadian horror film is inspired)--I'm a big fan of Canadian cinema (genre and non-genre alike) and it's frustrating to have so many Canadian films MIA on blu-ray.

When will this be released as a trilogy box set? I mean, really, it's so perfect for that. I would settle for just the original, because that's the best in my opinion...but I wouldn't mind a nice box set package too (ala Stieg Larsson Trilogy, etc)

The pic and especially audio mastering would be sick!

Never got a great treatment on DVD? The only Canadian edition ever released was a Collector's Edition featuring a pretty decent transfer and TONS of bonus features... Where have you been?

I would LOVE for these films to be released on Blu. I've been debating buying the Trilogy boxed DVD set since I love the cover art but I keep hoping for a Blu version. I know that the minute I buy the series on DVD, they'll announce the Blu. Never fails! LOL! These films are easily my favourite low-budget horrors (along with The Evil Dead, of course).

How's about you take one for the team and go and buy that DVD set then? We could take up a collection and each chip in a buck for you after the fact-

In the past year, TVA has only issued a handful of blus. So I really doubt we'll see these films anytime soon, lads.

Just a heads up for fans in Toronto, there's a screening of Ginger Snaps 3 Tuesday night (19th) at the Bloor. They're using the only 35mm print ever struck. Apparently it was struck then the film went straight to video.
The director, producers & costume designer will be there.
