Default Universal Soldier IV 3D

They are starting to film the new Universal Solider in November this year but it is going to come in 3D which I dont agree with because I prefer 2D.

Probably, but hope it comes out on 2D bluray sale. Do you reckon it will people?

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing.

Unless they can land a bigger name or two to get a theatrical release.

This is starting to resemble Star Trek.

If all of these problems were coming about due to the program, they wouldn't even think of bringing it out of moth balls after scrapping in the first couple of times, they'd just leave it dead.

If you guys didn't see the dtv sequel, Regeneration, I suggest you go rent it. It was by far the best in the series, no cheesy one-liners and some good action scenes. I though it was going to be complete crap and I came away nicely surprised.

So, either they continue the story and have Andrei Arlovski's
[Show spoiler]clones kick everyone's arse
, or start anew. 3D though? Blah.

All these new movies with 3D remind me of the South Park episode where Eric dresses up as Awesomo. He has all these stupid ideas and he just puts Adam Sandler in it. I can't help but think that every movie getting pitched these days gets the word 3D thrown into it.

Very anxious to watch this one. I absolutely LOVED Regeneration and I would go as far as to say that it's the best DTV film I've ever seen. I was honestly shocked with how good it was. Better than the original too IMO.

Thanks for the trailer. It seems really different, not sure if that is good or bad. I guess I'll have to wait to see it but idk.

Nearly every 3D movie has a 2D sidekick.

I'll check it out. I forgot about that newest one as I was waiting for the price to drop, afraid it wouldn't be that good compared to US1.

If the 3D is weak, then yeah, I agree, 2D would be better. But if the 3D is Avatar strong, then I'm for a 3D and 2D release if the movie delivers. Van Damme is the star in this new 3D version? I hope so. I'll check the link.

Could it be Van Damme is not the bad guy after all?

I really hope Van Damme isn't the bad guy . His character has been such an innocent victim in the movies, it'd be a shame for him to become the villain out of nowhere.

Maybe Van Damme doesn't "kill" Scott Adkins family after all.

I'm pretty sure this is supposed to be getting a theatrical release later this year around November/December. Don't see the need for it to be in 3D at all, but definitely excited for this, Van Damme and Lundgren back, what more could you want?

I'm guessing either Van Damme is a clone or, based on the Beyond Hollywood plot summary I posted, the murder of Scott Adkin's family that fuels his quest for revenge is an implanted memory.

How the hell is Lungdren back? Didn't he receive a pretty sizable hole in his head in the last one.

This is exactly what I'm hoping. What better way for the government to get rid of Luc, than to put a false memory into Adkins head that fuels his quest to kill Luc...and he'd be helping out the government as well.
