Wonder if the first two will have their Extended Cuts on Blu-ray this time round. It's gonna be pricey.

With all the Disneys, the James Bond collection, various other new releases that I'm sure I'll want on Day 1, and now this... I think maybe I will officially be broke by the end of the year.

Isn't this expensive bit of furniture five hundred bucks?

Edit: It's down to $349.99!

I know how you feel.

This, Indiana Jones, E.T., Jaws and Titanic are all due for the late part of the year.

I ordered the US release, but I don't want all that crap. I just want all the movie as Ultimate Editions in normal Blu-ray cases.

it's unlikely there will be blu-ray cases inside that box

EDIT: I changed my mind and ordered it at amazon.co.uk

The image is from Play here
http://www.play.com/DVD/Blu-ray/4-/3...t/Product.html

No other details are listed at the moment other than the ones I included in the first post.

Cool thanks.

Among other things, I can make out the following:

- Several mini lithographs (or photos of some sort)
- Some cards with sketches?
- A hardcover book (can't make out what it says at the bottom)
- Two maps (Marauder's map, and one covering the entire Hogwarts?)
- Something that says HP Label Collection?
- Certificate of Authenticity

Feel free to correct any of that

Lets see, the Bond collection probably has well over 20 discs and costs £90... Potter collection has x amount of discs, more "elaborate" packaging and some physical bonuses... I wonder how much this would cost: Probably in the £100-150 spectrum?

It's available for pre-order from amazon.com for $350US, but the UK often has things for cheaper so I'm guessing around $250US which is about £160. If that $350 price carries over then you're looking £220 or so.

Here's to hoping the release a "normal" amaray for the complete ultimate super duper set. I don't want a cheap piece of furniture.

If the Extended Cuts are on Blu-ray this time, and it's £200 or under here in the UK, I'll buy it.

Oh God I forgot about all them. Indiana Jones and E.T. are also Day 1 buys for me, though I'll pick up Jaws and Titanic as well, if not immediately when they're released.

Hmm, two weeks before my birthday, and $350 in the US. Depending on the UK price, do I dare ask someone to buy it for me as a gift?

Do you not think that's an extortionate price though? I mean, when we are talking that kind of money, I instantly think of Lost, and that dropped. So if all the extended cuts with all the extras come out in a normal boxset then I will certainly wait for them to drop in price!
