Dear God (1996) - Blu-ray Forum

Thought of this movie the other day and noticed it wasn't on blu-ray. I used to have the DVD long ago and would certainly like to revisit it at some point in HD but I'm not paying Amazon's digital prices.

It didn't get the best reviews when it came out but I always thought it was a cute film. Greg Kinnear excels as a charming con artist and it includes a fun cast of misfits played by Tim Conway, Laurie Metcalf, Hector Elizondo and others.

Seems to be stuck behind the Paramount "vault" and I doubt this is very high on their radar because they've only recently put out Pretty in Pink. Since Shout is now releasing some films from them though maybe with some luck this will get released.

Paramount is doing MOD Blu-ray now so there is a good chance this could get a Blu-ray release. I still have the DVD, it's a good movie. One of Kinnear's best roles along with Little Miss Sunshine, The Matador and As Good As It Gets.
