It all starts here.... The sub crawl!

Hey guys,

Looking for some advice/suggestions, and I thought I would make it a little bit fun here first. Below is a quick MS paint image of my current basement layout. I am currently in the market for a subwoofer(s), however I need to figure a few things out in my room.

- Best placement with WAF. I have up to 4 options available, which are shown on the picture below.

- Which sub(s) to get, probably in the $1k or under range. I am OK buying quality now, and adding more later down the road, however I will NOT be buying 4, $1k subs . 70% movies/TV 30% Games for useage.

- Any sub combo suggestions, with brands placement, etc would be awesome

I also wanted to run a little experiement with the subwoofer forum members, to see that when I do the sub crawl, if they can accurately guess the best placement of a singular sub based on my drawing. Winners get bragging rights!

I don't plan to do the subcrawl until at least Saturday, so I figured I would take a non scientific poll where people will think that the sub will sound the best for the Lazy-Boy and close sectional seating.

Options are 1-4!

Some early clues:

I currently have my POS HTiB sub in location 2 (all options will be corner loaded - except for #3) and she is a semi-boomy beast. (honestly not sure if this is a quality issue, or placement )
