Soundbar help needed

I have a Samsung 32" 1080p LED tv and I was thinking about adding a soundbar for better sound. I know nothing about soundbars however, I don't need anything too expensive, just something that will improve the sound and the bass.
Would futureshop or Best Buy be the best places to buy from? What brand can anyone recommend?

Home Theatre Magazine also keeps a running list of recommended products you could read up on, I can't claim to know whether they are 'on the take' from any of the manufactures they recommend, but I enjoy their publication:
