Has anyone here managed to convince someone else to go blu?

I've managed to convince two people one from buying both and one who had no idea what HDM was, both to blu-ray

any of you done the same thing?

I've convinced people to buy ps3's (using that 5 free bd ad). So I think that counts

I work at Best Buy on the weekends and I just last week talk a guy out of an HD DVD player for the BD-P1400 with 4 blu movies (BOGO and then the 5 free). He had the Onkyo 805 and was wondering which one would go better with his new receiver.

showing them the clairty of HDM over SD, it's definately a selling point.

I convinced 9 people from my job to purchase ps3. Now we work together all day and kill each other on warhawk at night. They all even started buying blu rays.

I convinced one person to go with Blu and the PS3 specifically. He is very happy.

Warhawk's been so huge for PS3. I know of a few people who bought a PS3 after seeing/playing that game.
