I have been experimenting over the past week and a half.
I put a bunch of BD and DVD items in my cart, then left them there. The overall price always goes UP, but NEVER goes down. Seems a bit fishy. You have a 5 percent increase above initial prices, but never a single pence below.... Last edited by #Darren; 04-19-2014 at 04:35 AM. |

I can't say I've seen what he is talking about, but I understand what he is meaning.
He is saying that while individual titles may go down... the combination of all his titles always seems to go up. So... while an individual item in his cart might go down, some other item (or items) in his cart are going up enough to counter that... so that if he bought the entire group he would pay more than when he initially added them. It could still just be a weird coincidence in the combination of items in his cart. |

I've got 16 items in the cart, so it is a pretty large sample size.
I decided to watch this one because I thought I had noticed similar trends in the past when I left stuff in their cart. It has now been sitting there approx 2 weeks. Always above the original price total. If it was random it would also drop below... |

I have 16 items. And whether it is sales season or not my experience is valid - always trending up - never down. Also, as you may know - prices for individual items on Amazon UK can fluctuate daily, and often dramatically. So while suggesting a longer period to compare has validity, it doesn't really negate what I am seeing. |
