At the moment and until Monday night you can pre-order it using the HMV 20% offer code (H8BLU20) for £17.60.

One of my favourite looking of all the upcoming steelbooks, this one just looks perfect. Can't wait for it, especially having heard the reviews for the transfer.

hope they gives us a better deisgn for jaws 2, then what they say they will use!.

is there an actual release date for jaws 2 yet? another steelbook would be nice, september is going to be an expensive month, with jaws and avengers steelbook and lots more coming out!

Not for the UK, but the US is getting it in August (but not in a steelbook). And Jaws 3D too (but not Jaws: The Revenge, which is fine).

aha...I preordered this ages ago with Amazon for £17.99 (cheapest at the time, and I think it still is..) but I might cancel that and reorder it with HMV, a huge 39p saving.... but more importantly HMV will get it to me quicker as Amazon dont post preorders out early, an order from HMV will arrive Fri/Sat whereas going by previous experience the Amazon order wont arrive till the following Wed or Thurs..but then Amazons packaging is better...what to do...what to do...

I seem to have saved quite a bit over the last few hours, cancelling and reordering my HMV preorders, this 20% off was a good idea by HMV

Yup, I've gone back and forth on this order as well - think I've had it with Play (for £17.99 until my Mission: Impossible steelbook turned up dented... then of course they change their packaging after I cancel but up the price!), then Amazon and now HMV - gets here much quicker and, although the Amazon packaging might be "better" I've never had any problems with HMV's steelbooks at all.

Slightly off-topic but how quickly do Play deliver now? They used to post them on the Wednesday and get them on the Saturday, are they still good like that? I think my Mission: Impossible turned up on a Saturday but I can't remember.

In my experience, any preorders I've had with them usually get despatched on the Tuesday/ Wednesday and arrive on the Saturday.
Last preorder I had with them (Man on Fire steelbook) despatched on the Monday and arrived on the Friday.

My Play preorders usually arrive on the Saturday, occasionally Friday before the release date, but not very often, my last 2 orders from them (the Universal steels and last week the Fox steels) were both posted on the Wednesday and arrived on the Saturday.

Thanks guys. I'll be less torn now when the next big steelbook I want goes up there cheaper than everywhere else.

How limited is this steelbook going to be? Theres a fair few retailers just like the ones selling Kings of New York, Living Dead, E.T. etc.

Anybody know of the exact amount of production those units will have?

I'm sure this will be a worldwide release from Universal like Scarface was which is still available everywhere.

Could be like the Psycho one which was available everywhere initially but was out of print after a couple of months.
