Anyone else a fan of the show?
I only started watching it last year but have caught up with the numerous repeats since.
Yes its set up but that doesnt mean its not entertaining.

I watched this show a lot for a while. Even the Texas one. And then by the time the New York one came out, I was getting a bit burned out.

Knowing it is set-up takes any of the enjoyment out of it for me.

They've shown the majority of episodes here on the History Channel.
However they are just repeating, repeating and repeating old episodes and it's losing it's appeal for me.
I've read somewhere that one of the team has been sacked from the show and he is now suing them as it has hurt his reputation and business.
They showed the Texas version which was just boring even after the cast changes for the second season.
They've not shown the New York series yet but I hope they do.
I just hope the History and Bio channels pull their fingers out and start showing new episodes over here!!

Enjoy the show. Enjoyed it more before
[Show spoiler]Dave Hester was let go

Barry Weiss is by far my favorite person. He reminds me of Ric Flair.

Barry takes it to another level. Glad he finally came back a season or two ago. Hopefully he appears in the new season. Show is kinda brutal without him and the sense of desperation in the early seasons. It feels like everyone is just showing up to be on the show now. Which was only Barry in the first four seasons.

I used to love this show, but once they started introducing new characters it went downhill. Though I love Kenny.

Kenny’s...okay. He has cred for appearing during the Barry Years but he can be a bit too eccentric. I can’t stand Mary (now gone), those weird Vegas gals (also gone), Dusty (creepy dude) or Lisa ( why the **** is she there?). I’m watching the new episodes now and Dave actually showed up. Man he looks and sounds like he aged 20 years from his stroke. Just ain’t the same without Darrell, Jarrod...and Barry
