Default Need help deciding which Center, left, and right speakers to get for $300

Hi I am currently running energy take classics with a bic america f-12 sub and I want to upgrade my front speakers. Which ones would you recommend for a total budget of around $300. I am looking for speakers with better bass response and that have a better mid range. Also is it ok if I used the energy takes for the rear surrounds? will they blend well with other brands? Thank you for your help!

I'm not sure which speakers, but have you thought about just R and L. You can run a phantom center, the fronts take care of all three channels. I did it for a while when mine was out for repairs, not bad, especially if you are sitting directly in front of the screen.

I would like to have a center though. I am so used to it I think it would be weird not having one.

i would go with just the l and r as 300$ for all 3 is not enough. you will get better quality with just better left and right speakers... the speakers will handle the info the center does when the center is not hooked up and get a center later on when you have the cash

I would get a center speaker at around 200$

the front speakers at around 300 - 500$ for decent sound on a budget

but if you want check out polk t15 for fronts if you want 100$ I use those as the surround sound but it might work for you
polk cs10 center at 190$

you def gonna want to spend another 100$ at the cheapest on bass. your going to be missing out big time on that

but then upgrade later for better front and take the polk t15 as backs later on and throw out 300-400$ on just floor standing front speakers

I would say 3 definitive technology pro monitor 800s, then you could eventually rotate them to your rears. But this puts you over budget by about 35 bucks. I have these for my rears and the have amazing sound.
