I have 33GBs on my PS3 but cannot download 18GB Game..?

I want to download the Super Street Fighter Arcade that's free on PS+ and i tried downloading it and it told me i didn't have enough room on my drive. Which at that time was true. had barely 6 GB left.

So i go clean and deleted lots of stuff and i finally get it at 20GB of free space, figured it would be fine so i try again. NOPE!

So again i go through more stuff and i get to 33GB! I'm thinking to myself that there's NO WAY it tells me i don't have enough room... and BOOM i have my answer.

I mean i wasn't THAT good in math in school but i'm pretty sure 18 fits into 33! with alot more to spare than i had to begin with!

Help?!

Is there some sort of threshold or something?

Oh BTW i have the 120GB Slim (3 years old one)
