onkyo 818 or pioneer sc65

which one between those two have better sound for medium/big room. mostly would be used for movies. currently my set up is energy cf70 speakers with matching center. down the line I will be up grading to bowers and wilkins cm9 with center and surrounds to match.

Right now im using pioneer 1021. My problem with it is that i feel its not running enough power to surrounds. Sound is weak and flat.

From what i have been reading about onkyo 818 is that it has a problem running blu ray movies in 24p. Has the problem fixed or does it still exist as I mostly watch blu ray movies and that could be a deal breaker for me.
