Ashim Ahluwalia's MISS LOVELY Blu-ray From REM Germany - Blu-ray Forum

Not sure if this is the correct forum (not many people in the Germany forum would be interested), but Ashim Ahluwalia's fictionalized look at '80s b-movies MISS LOVELY is coming out on Blu this week from Rapid Eye Movies.

According to every site I've checked (and I've checked a lot), it will be in the original Hindi with subs in German, English, and some sites say French as well. This will be the first official release of the uncut version of the film as the NFDC DVD in India was cut to pass the CBFC.

It's now available for pre-order at Amazon Germany and other reputable German stores.

Wow!

This one is out of the blu.

Dunno if it's first day buy with imdb review at 6.8.

Blu is $20 but DVD is $40 !!! Really strange.

I have seen it and I really enjoyed it.

If you like horror or trashy b-movies from the '70s-'80s, you'll enjoy it. Plus, Nawaz Siddiqui!

I quite liked the movie although it had its flaws. It was waaaayyy better than the crap Madhur Bhandarkar turns out in the name of realistic cinema. Terrific production design and cinematography. Nawaz was good in his usual way, but I most liked the character and performance of the guy that played his elder brother. It would have been a more interesting film with that guy in the focus

Received my copy the other day, but haven't finished the film yet. It's a nice English-friendly package, with a booklet of essays in both English and German. The disc itself has excellent audio and video quality that conveys the intended grittiness of the film. REM treated this small movie with more respect than the Indian companies treat their big hits!

Finished DON REM few days ago. Better AQ and slightly better PQ overall compared to T-series.

Finished DON-2 REM. great packaging. Unbelievable PQ AQ. Almost reference.

Thanks. Actually, I would be one of those people. A Windows phone with just half a gig of RAM cannot take so much and it just freezes, hehe. Man, I miss my lappy.
