Angry Problem playing Batman Begins on my ASUS-BR04b2t

First of all, Happy New Year everyone !

It seems I am having problems playing Batman Begins (Region 2) Bluray on my PC BD-ROM. I did not have the problem this summer, when I had my old firmware, but since I tried reinstalling and updating PowerDVD 12 and Arcsoft Total Media Theater and it doesn't work with either one, I'm starting to think its a BD problem. The other movies work fine, except for BB.

The program simple freezes when I insert the BD in the PC. Sometimes Arcsoft sees that it's Batman Begins and displays the name of the disc in the lower left corner, but if I hit play, it freezes.

Any ideas what the problem could be ? If its a firmware issue, any idea how to get to my older firmware ?

Thought I'd ask here before contacting ASUS because I"m pretty sure they won't know what to tell or just try to sell me goats disguised as sheep.

In case anyone is wondering, this is what BD-Advisor had to say on the matter.

I'm always very cautious about updating Firmware on a BD/DVD-Rom.. can you not just roll back that firmware update?

I would also check the drive.. give it a clean if you can. I had issues a while back with certain discs not loading anymore, and it just turned out the drive had a little too much dust in it. The weirdest part was that only WWE discs were effected lol.
