as shown in post 1, also known as exhibit A, is a prime example of microsoft's "support" of hd dvd. they painted an xbox with a hd dvd exclusive release and then got toshiba to donate free hd dvd box sets of heroes and pretend to support hd dvd. then when massive toshiba subsizdizing takes place to the point where the masses just don't care about hdm, ms unveils their hd downloading service, via xbox, and toshiba is like WTF! I THOUGHT YOU SUPPORTED HD DVD, OH SH!T WE LOST MILLIONS, NO BY THEN IT WILL BE BILLIONS.

boy that sure is a lot of hd dvds in that box. they must have come with uncompressed audio and high bitrates. wait, they don't have that, you say? then why do they need so many discs? oh! 30GB isn't enough. is that why TFORMERS didn't have even LOSELESS audio? Why yes that is the reason.

Its so obvious that is whats happening, and Toshiba knows it. But they may still have a glimer of hope inside them that they might win. Either way, its either roll over and die or take Blu-ray down with you.

Looks like it might overheat and die right away, and I thought at first it was the DVD box set that was displayed! Tons-o-disks!

It's funny but seriously, why are they all so butt-ugly?

Do they really think grown adults are going to put those things in their living room?!?

enjoy

dudes, id so get one of theses, but don't you think the red rings of death would sort of clash with the orange, yellow, and black of the console.

Lot of humor and insight on this thread.
Looks like I had a bunch of tequila and super nachos then ralphed all over an Xbox and spilled every disc in my collection in a drunken stupor.
mmm vomit.

WOW! Even MS is getting desperate

Honostly, who are they fooling? I mean, HD DVD is practically giving away everything and people still go for blu-ray!

Seller: Here you go son, a FREE HD DVD player with 7 movies
Buyer: Does it play Blu-Ray?
Seller: Blu-ray? No, you need a bd player for that
Buyer: Where can I find one?
Seller: We do not have any in stock a.t.m.
Buyer: You don't? When Can I expect to pick one up?
Seller: We're booked till 2009!
Buyer: DOH!

Shame the Xbox360 is such a poor player! Anyone who buys this and watches Heroes on it won't be experiencing anything like true HD entertainment!

I guess there will be a Battlestar Galactica one soon?

Honestly though, all these "custom" 360's painted up like that is so damn tacky. I always thought the changeable face plate was bad enough, but this is awful. clearly this console is aimed at the teenage bedroom; hardly the AV market that PS3 is aimed at.

I assume it has a dud drive with it. So how much does it COST in relationship to a 40GB PS3?

Hahaha... you could probably LITERALLY do that to the PS3 and still have it work perfectly afterwards!!!
