Is Sony bluray's best studio? According to blu-ray.com's Looper review with regards to video quality and of most of Sony's releases from their studios (Columbia, Tristar, Screen Gems) it is. I've always read great reviews on here regarding Sony's releases. Warner Bros' titles tend to not fair so well and are hit and miss with regards to video quality.
Disney Pixar releases tend to also be excellent. But movies that are 100% computer graphics are probably easier to edit than real life film with regards to trying to nail the skin tones and clothes accurately with the right amount of film grade and not messing with edge enhacement. https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Looper-Blu-ray/49169/ |
