Newbie Blu - Blu-ray Forum

Just got Apocalypto and 300 from Amazon. Played it on my PS3 and 32" Philips LCD TV via HDMI... It's like the feeling I had when I first saw my first DVD movie (Braveheart).

Nothing... just wanna share... Am in Brunei by the way. A Sony country just like the rest of South East Asia.

I just got Apocalypto also from the Amazon 2 for 1 deal.......gonna watch it tonight.

just saw apocolypto last week for the first time (bogo purchase), I was speechless after the movie. It was great- I wonder if i liked it more because of the outstanding pq, or its just an entertaining movie? either way it was awesome.

Wasn't able to watch it during its release because I thought it was too gory… bought a dvd but still waited for BD… and it was worth it. Mel really directs better than he acts :-).

Apolcayto's like braveheart, you can see it again and again and again… 300's like Gladiator, you get tired watching it after some time. It's just my opinion by the way.

Am looking forward for "The English Patient", Godfather 1 & 2, Shawshank Redemption, The Exorcist (Director's Cut), The Thin Red Line, The Last Mohican... some of the titles I already owned on DVD before... so many to replace... so long the wait... so hoping to buy them all (again).

Thanks for the great reviews one and all. I have passed this one up mutiple times as I have never seen it orheard anything one way or the other about it, but will now purchase it due to the Plus raves.
