Post Your Sudden Encounters With Celebs

We all dream about meeting our favorite celebrities but what do we do when we encounter them at a moment's notice or, worse, unexpectedly? Do you keep your cool or act like drooling fool? My encounters:

I work as a doorman so occasionally I'll meet a famous person. One time my boss calls me from his office and tells me someone's coming to visit him in a few minutes and he needed me to escort him up. Fine, I think to myself, just a routine thing. So they arrive and it's Richard Donner and his wife! Turns out my boss and RD are lifelong friends! I've been working for this guy for almost 20 years and this is how I find out? I stopped myself before blurting out "nice job on Superman" all those years ago while giving him a thumbs up

Also during my shift:

Donald Sutherland shuffles in all disheveled asking me if I'd seen his wife. Apparently she came into the building about half an hour earlier with a small group. Am I supposed to keep track of everybody's wives? lol

I used to have a souvenir NYPD jacket that I wore almost daily about 10 years ago mostly to keep myself from getting mugged. I got off at my subway stop after a long shift and who approaches me in the middle of the night? Warren freakin' Beatty and his female companion (but I was so tired I didn't even realize it at the time). Obviously he thinks I'm a cop so he goes, "you know who I am?" We're lost - could you accompany us back to Manhattan?!!. Naturally I looked at him like he was an alien and walked away
