Paramount will be releasing He Said, She Said (1991) on April 26th.

The battle of the sexes is displayed from dueling perspectives when two journalists at the same newspaper with little in common are offered their own point-counterpoint talk show. Dan Hanson (Kevin Bacon) is a conceited conservative with sex on the brain, and Lorie Bryer (Elizabeth Perkins) is an erudite liberal looking for long-term love. Their deep-set differences cause sparks to fly and ratings to soar. But things get complicated when opposites attract and romance blossoms.

Paramount is bringing it. I applaud them.

if it gets a transfer like all the other recent Paramount Catalog titles you’re in for disappointment.

Pretty much this. Most of these recent non-"Presents" Paramount titles have had transfers that are barely better than standard-def. Only when they license titles out to other labels do we get decent transfers.

I'm not expecting anything much better than digital. This is probably the best we're ever going to get.

I had forgotten all about this movie. It lasted two weeks at the theater I worked at, and I'm not sure how it lasted that long; we sold very few tickets for it. I'm sure I watched it - I watched every movie since they were free - but I'll be damned if I can remember anything about it.

For the fan's sake, I hope this looks and sounds decent.

Will have to buy this for a nice double feature with She's Having A Baby. Glad it's finally getting a Blu-ray release my DVD is all scratched up.

I always found Elizabeth Perkins to be extremely attractive, to the point of being distracting! (Not that anyone asked me!) Am getting the Blu-ray just for her.

I haven't but the streaming version, while an older master, looks fine. No reason this shouldn't.

Is Kevin Bacon's character the adult version of Alex Keaton? That's what it sounds like.

The allmovie review makes it sound like both of these characters are unlikable.

this is weird. I had no idea if it was on blu ray or not. I got the digital version last week.. just my luck its out this week on blu ray.

He Said, She Said Blu-ray has a commentary and theatrical trailer. PQ is pretty average, older master. 3/5
