Sony Signs New Ad Firm (RIP Kevin Butler)

In a news story straight from Mad Men...

VG247.com: Sony Computer Entertainment America has signed up with New York advertising agency Bartle, Bogle, Hegarty. GamesIndustry reports Sony considered “outstanding” proposals from Anomaly, 180LA and former agency Deutsch before settling on the new team. Deutsch was responsible for the successful and popular Kevin Butler campaigns and its wit will be much missed; unfortunately it seems we’ve seen the last of our erstwhile vice president of everything. New agency BBH will probably have quite a lot of work on its hands in the near future.

Sony's ads have left much to be desired, with the rare exception of KB, I'm happy to see fresh meat on this. Lets get things right with the PS4.

Yeah, it sucks to see KB gone, but at least Sony knows when to lay an ad to rest.

I think Sony having been in a legal battle with the actor pretty much meant the end to the character. This is no surprise
