Sweden Hellboy - DTS 7.1 HD MA?

http://www.discshop.se/filmer/bluray...blu_ray/P81952

Site description and back-cover states that this release has 7.1 DTS HD MA. Website says that it was released last year in July.

Now for the obvious question - anyone know if this sound mix any good? SF (Svensk filmindustri / Swedish Film Industry) usually only make lousy releases, so I wonder if they ****ed up this aswell. UK and US releases have 5.1 LPCM so... Could it be a weird typo?

It was pretty cheap, so I decided to order it anyway, despite my lack of faith in SF. Unfortunately I don't have a 7.1 system, so if it's really a new mix I can't test out it's full potential.

The German ofdb.de also sates the 7.1 HD MA english Audio. And the User who entered that edition says that this audio should be REALLY great

Quote:
Translated somewhat like:
The extras are the same as other releases, but they put a 7.1 DTS HD MA audio track, which is real great. Just recommended if someone doesn't need german audio track.

i'm sure that HellBoy II is in 7.1 DTS-HD-MA. I think HellBoy (the first one) is in LPCM 5.1; this is USA of course so I can't speak for Germany.

I can tell you that HellBoy II has an incredible 7.1 lossless mix.

We are talking about the first movie. Seems that worldwide except for Svensk has only 5.1 LPCM ..
swensk BD Hellboy at ofdb.de (german site)

The U.S. version of Hellboy has English 5.1 LPCM and German 5.1 LPCM.

The U.S. version of Hellboy II has English 7.1 DTS-MA.

They both look and sound fantastic, but I don't know about the Svensk filmindustri version.

I just picked up the 2nd one yesterday here in the states and can't wait. Not sure if I should upgrade to BD on the first one though? One of my most favorite movies.

I think it's worth it. IMO it's an excellent release, PQ/AQ wise. Both films are.

Sorry to bump an oldie, but I thought it better than starting a new thread on the same subject.

Can anyone confirm if the Swedish version of Hellboy (1) does in fact have a DTS-HD MA 7.1 track? Plus I'd love to know if it's 24-Bit (other releases are 16-Bit).

Also, if this is the case, does the Swedish disc also contain the same solid video transfer/encode as the EU/UK/US versions.

Hellboy II is my go to reference disc for Video and Audio (plus a solid film) and I want the absolute best technical presentation of Hellboy (1) to sit next to it on the shelf, hehe..

Any help would be greatly appreciated..
