Australia F/x

Any word on this release, in terms of quality and extras? Worth importing?

I'd like to know this too. I have the Scandinavian release, which is good but is 1080i.

Is it sure that this australian release has english SDH subs?

I have the danish release which is 1080i and would like to upgrade if someone can tell me for sure that it's 1080p and that it has english SDH subs!

It seems I can't find the original post with the name of the member who gave the info on the "List of International BDs with Better PQ, AQ, and/or More Extras" thread using the search engine

I did post in that thread in reply to the quote in your above post. The information that poster gave is incorrect. The Australian disc is 1080i/50, DD 2.0, no subs at all and zero extras. It is AVC 1.85:1 and B locked

Thank you so much, it's what I feared!
Umbrella rarely (never) offers english SDH subs even if the movie was released elsewhere with them.

I will update the BD listing on here.

Thanks again you really helped a lot!!! Preventing me from buying the same disc 2 times in a row

What's with Umbrellas recent 1080i releases? surely they can locate a 1080p source.

They are probably taken from older masters made for TV.
