Why haven't games been done in Dolby Atmos or DTS X? - Blu-ray Forum

We have had Dolby Digital games since the PS2. Games specifically Naughty Dog games ie: The Uncharted series and The Last of Us could do 7.1 PCM. Why haven't games been done in Dolby Atmos or DTS X?

I know PCM 7.1 is channel based, and Dolby Atmos and DTS X are object based, can the PS4 render object based sound in real time?

Xbox has some but you have to buy the Atmos app (licensing issues) to make use of it. Maybe SONY at this point figures it's a waste of time and money to implement?
