Understanding front high and surround high

Hi I have a question about how this front high and surround high works, my room has a nine speaker configuration four of which is in the ceiling.

So here goes the question I am looking to buy a receiver but it is not in the budget for a 9.1 receiver so was shooting for a 7.1 one. Do the pro logic iiz setting will allow me to use all these speakers,do that setting alternate between front high and surround back or high and any suggestions on a receiver. Any help I will appreciate.


Also I have a spare myths 3 that I was planning on putting center of my rear wall for a 6.1 setting.
