Wasn't a fan of the first. I preferred Dredd. I might rent this at redbox for $1.30 and see if it's any better in my eyes

This hits theaters next weekend.

Edited: Well crap. Everything I've seen has stated that this is released on March 28th. I was excited cause I'm off work that day and it was going to be my first movie in the theaters this year. Now it looks like I've gotta wait until April 11th.

I saw an advance screening of this and it's hands down the best action movie I've ever seen. So I will be buying this on day one for sure.

People said that about the first one... and it wasn't.

Let's not overdo the hype this time so that disappointment is inevitable for less hyperbolic viewers such as myself.

To be fair, he shared his opinion that it was the best. I do consider the first one to be one of the best action movies ever made, after actual thought went into whether I meant that or was being hyperbolic. I am not typically excited about action movies, as I find tons of violence with little plot to be boring usually, and I was blown away by the execution of The Raid.
