Default Cracked LED--Any resale value for parts

So had a traumatic Wii controller vs Sony 65 zd9 situation a few months back. Both kids are still alive if you were wondering. Had bought this as a back up 3D tv in case my LG E6P bit the dust.

The glass screen somehow did not crack but the LED screen is toast with circular impact area and numerous other screen abnormalities.

Didnt even look into replacing panel due to what I think would be a pretty big cost even if a new panel was available.

Would there be any value to putting it up on ebay or should I just recycle it?

Also is anyone aware of any mercury risk to having the TV on as the kids still want to watch it?

Any other thoughts?

Thank you in advance!

Yeah, don't even look into replacing the panel, it is way too much work and cost.

So my 65" OLED got horizontal lines and flickering and I found out it is the panel itself and not the boards. So I basically pulled all the parts out of it, all 3 boards, I could list them on ebay, they are 100-300 each. But I don't really care to. Pulled the speaker bar and stand. I looked into recycling the display panel but they want 30.00 for a screen that size. So instead I filmed myself destroying the panel by dropping heavy things on it (in 3D of course!) No kidding, and surprisingly that glass (or plastic) is deceptively stronger than it looks. May have to upload it to YT. lol.
