Halloween / Halloween II - Theatrical Editions Canadian Double Feature??

Okay, I hope someone can help me out with this.



The above picture shows Theatrical Edition, and the specs say the same.

But Amazon list the item, which it links to above, as this image:


and it says Unrated Director's Cut...

There is no blu-ray on Amazon.ca that has Theatrical on the cover, from what I saw, but there is a dvd edition with the Theatrical version of Halloween II.

Does anyone know whats going on here? lol.
It seems there is only ONE double feature of these two films, so one of the images must be incorrect? right?

That blu double feature is the theatrical cut for both films I own that very set also ordered from amazon.ca and the PQ is actually really good

i have the unrated cuts of both. should get them instead.

I have this one too; I bought it after seeing the director's cut of part 2, which I liked more than I ever expected. I was curious about the differences.

Well, as the person above me said, the director's cut of 2 is far better. There's an excellent review over at Kindertrauma that explains its strengths far better than I could.

But to answer your question, both cuts are the theatrical ones in this set. I don't much care for either cut of part 1, but at least this one is shorter, and opts for a "less icky" and rape-free jailbreak for Michael.

I also have the unrated cuts of both films, I actually liked the Theatrical Cut for 2 way better, and I'm a completest, especially with the Halloween franchise.

So, to be clear, it is the Theatrical cut of both in this double?
Even though Amazon's image says Unrated on the front, but Blu-Ray.com's image says Theatrical Cut?

Yes. Absolutely. Both part 1 and 2 in that set are the theatrical cut. I ordered from amazon.ca so it's 100% correct information.
