Fritz Lang's The Return of Frank James (1940) arrives on Blu-ray January22, 2019, from Twilight Time. This will be a limited edition of 3000 copies.

Quite a difference over the Koch. I agree the TT colors, especially reds, look truer, and much darker, with Koch looking way too bright.

Neither blu-ray is correct, but I favor the Koch.

The Koch has now been revealed to look nowhere near how Technicolor 3-Strip should.

Is the Koch region free? Blu-ray.com lists it as Region B (A, C untested).

I watched this yesterday and I was a bit surprised that there was stock footage from "Jesse James" featured in the film. I did a small comparison for the heck of it (images also in spoiler):
