Default Charge of the Light Brigade

Hi everyone - just looking to see if anyone knows anything about Charge of the Light Brigade's recent release (2013) over in France.

Basically, there was a 2012 release (http://www.amazon.fr/charge-brigade-...+Light+Brigade) and then there's been a recent 2013 release (http://www.amazon.fr/Charge-brigade-...+Light+Brigade)

There isn't an updated listing on the main BR site, so was just hoping to get some more info

I was also looking to get the Danish BR/DVD set (https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-C...y/39440/#Forum) - but basically drew a blank on finding somewhere to purchase from

Guess nobody knows?

Maybe I should post in the French section? Or a Mod can move this there?

One of my favourite films of the sixties. I didn't buy the French Blu as I understand that it looks no better than the DVD & is still the cut-down version...& as I understand it, the new one is just a more expensive re-box of the old edition. This is one film where I'd happily pay Twilight Time prices for a proper restoration. Come on BFI, get your finger out!

Much as I'd like this, I'd prefer an overseas edition as the most recent DVD was cut by 14 seconds for horse falls, utterly ludicrous as the film was shown uncensored in 1968.

Thanks for the info... so, I might as well just get the cheaper French or Scandinavian BR for now.

A shame the latest version is a rebox/repackage - a weird title to do this with... LOL!

Fingers crossed for a new version soon.
