Default My BD support work is done for the week!

Purchased two copies of the Spiderman Trilogy, Saw 1,2,3 for the Holloween bash on tomorrow and TMNT to throw Warner some support. Damn if it wasn't hard to find a Warner title that I didn't already own. The Best Buy in south Austin only got 8!!! copies of the trilogy so I had to go out of my way to find it at the $60.99 price. The Best Buy manager that I talked to said, "Yeah, our purchaser messed up and big. I'm losing a lot of money today because of this. All the other stores got 60."

Funny story while I was up at a north Austin Best Buy. . . I was listening to a rep asking a DVD buyer if he wanted the normal Spiderman 3 (DVD) or the two disk set. The customer asked what the difference was. As the rep began to describe all the special features and behind the scenes stuff, he was interrupted by the customer with, "I don't need that shit." I think that's the typical consumer and where the future volume of Blu-ray will be coming from.

Waiting for my Spiderman trilogy to come in the mail hopefully today or tomorrow.

Also ordered the Die Hard quadrilogy last night since it dropped to 82.95 on Amazon I couldn't pass that up.

Bought Unforgiven this morning after the excellent quotes from Warner. (Here in the Great White North we apparently won't see the new Kubrick titles til Nov 20.)

Default I bought...

Deja Vu, Spidey Trilogy, and Polar Express at midnight last night and my wife was pissed. I think i'm done till next week when I have to pick up Cars and Ratatouille. I do have 90 in best buy bucks but I think i'll save that for the Die Hard Quadrilogy. Two months in and we've got 40 titles, i'm hooked...

That's what it says on bestbuy.ca (if you go into the Blu-ray movies and click on Clockwork Orange, The Shining etc) ... However, that's for online orders so I guess there's a chance they might show up in-store beforehand (doubtful though).
